It was officially opened on 21st June 2016 by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo.

It is 71 metres long, with a 50 metre deep gorge.

The Windsor Suspension Bridge is entrenched on either sides by huge supporting anchors that have been driven 12 metres into the Rock face.
